Since the government has moved on to the 'intelligent' lockdown, we take responsibility and stay at home. This allows us to come into contact with as few people as possible and slow down the spread of the Coronavirus.

Violin lessons take off online via Zoom or Skype. The method in short:

  • Students send videos of what they've been practicing.
  • The online lessons are according to the original schedule.
  • During the lessons, Annemarie regularly records videos in support of practice.
  • A photo of the homework and the videos are sent after class.

Students (and parents) are asked to vote the violin before class itself, to provide a lectern, sheet music, pencil, and if it can be a quiet space with good lighting and internet.

Only together do we get the coronavirus under control in the Netherlands.
